  1. You did a good job with line variation on your first image and creating a 3D appearance by changing the thickness of each line. The accuracy of the size of the phone is very well done, you could maybe add more variation to the lines to help illustrate more of a 3-D form. Overall, well done!

  2. Brittany! The first drawing looks so 3D! The line variation of the box is great! The lines around the screen of the phone look a little soft. I don't think we need to sweat shading just yet so I guess focus more on the lines?

  3. Great job Brittany on both the book and the phone, both have a 3D illusion.

  4. Good job Brittany. Both drawings are well done I like the thicker lines on the book. It really gives it a 3D appearance. The accuracy on the phone is good, but could use a little something so that it doesn't appear flat. Connie Wyatt

  5. Hi Brittany, The first drawing is great!! The line quality in that one is really strong. Riley is correct -- not need to shade yet, in fact, my preference is that everyone focus on using the lines to show the three dimensional form. On the phone, perhaps choose a perspective to draw the object where you see more than one side of it. This goes back to a comment I've made on pretty much everyone's work, which is that a good drawing a lot of times is dependent on the selection of an interesting object...something with lots of variation in shape or texture. Maybe also darken up some of the lines on the phone. Great work so far!! - Deb Karpman
