Again. Wow. I hope she grades us differently because there is no way we can compete. Your curved lines on the handle are amazing. It really makes it look 3D and your line variation is perfect. Maybe make the lines on the lower blade darker in some parts?
Seriously, did someone leave their scissors on Amanda's paper. How realistic and off the page for this drawing. I felt like I could pick this pair up and use them. The lines and variation of color and balance are great. Good Job.
Your lines are really awesome. Nice and straight, which is essential for drawing scissors, me thinks. Great line variation. Especially in the blades. ~Nidia
We talked about this a little at the beginning, but I wanted to reiterate that I think this a great start!! For the next two, don't shade (you can achieve the sense of 3D exclusively with your line quality), and consider looking at the objects from an interesting perspective rather than head on. The line quality is great, as is the accuracy. I wonder if you could get slightly darker lines..it's hard to tell if that is just the photo quality...see what happens when you press down as hard as you can with your 6B pencil...that's the dark value you're going for. Great work!!

Great job Amanda! Your lines are great and I think the shading gives it more dimension -- very realistic. Connie Wyatt
