Hi Brandye, This is a good start but it could still use some more work. Is this in pen or pencil? It looks a little like pencil, which would be more difficult to do crosshatching with. I think another thing that might help is bringing the shadow more into the interior of the object, rather than just around the edges (especially in the apple). Also, with the lines it's important to get them to gradually fade from dark to light, rather than stopping abruptly..that would be another thing to work on. Good work! Deb
Yes it is in pencil. In the instructional email on the 11th you said begin in pencil and I mistook it to be the whole drawing! I thought we were to do these in pencil! No wonder it was so hard.
Brandye you did a great job. I like the apple and you cross hatching is very definite to the shape you created. Nice.
