  1. The first one looks very 3D. Maybe I can't see it in the second one as much because it's an overhead view. But I really think they are both well done. Maybe turn the flash on next time? Looks a little dark.

  2. Very nice! My fave is the tape in the tape dispenser. That looked like it took a while, it's excellent an very realistic. Your contour lines in the screw driver are good too. I wish the left side had a bit more line variation, but besides that, looks great.

  3. Brandye, a good start on these! The tape dispenser looks really good, and the line quality in that one is great. Make sure to keep your pencil really sharp to get crisp, precise lines. It looks as though your pencil might not have been too sharp, or your using the side of the pencil, or going over it a bunch of times.

The screwdriver tool looks a little less accurate/proportionate, so always be sure to look at the object for proportions and symmetry. Notice at the curve near the top of the object, the curve in a little more extreme on the bottom part then the top part of the curve. These kinds of things can throw off the accuracy, so just be sure to check for symmetry if your object is symmetrical.

    Good start! -Deb Karpman

  4. Thanks for the criticism. I will try those on the next ones. These are the first things that I have ever drawn so it was a challenge.
