You did a great job making the back plate look 3-D. If you varied the thickness in the lines, then it would make it seem even more 3-dimensional! Overall, you did a great job depicting the object you were trying to draw. This was a very creative object to draw! I never would have thought about it, but it's a good object to illustrate contour lines.
Hi Denise, My same comment about the line variation applies to this one too. Also, your trying to make your object look really three dimensional, so pick things for your next two that are really 3D looking..things like a wall outlet, or a phone (other people drew phones), tends to be more difficult because they are flatter objects. It will make a big difference just in the initial choice of your object. Good work so far! - Deb Karpman
I think it's really hard to make something this flat look 3D. I know that was already stated, but it's what first crossed my mind when I saw your drawing. (I tried using a phone so I know how difficult it was.) However, I'm sure this was a learning experience and your next drawing will show improvement. Good job! Brittany Jacobs
