Cross Contour 1&2 Riley McEuen

I over exaggerated the lines on the toilet paper because you couldn't see them otherwise.

  1. Riley, both of those seem pretty hard to cross contour, but you did very well. I would not be able to do them. The lines are contoured very well. The angles for the items are different. The toilet paper seems to be standing up at an angle and the cup facing away. Nice job.

  2. You did a great job illustrating a 3-dimensional form on both of your objects. I really like the way you positioned the toilet paper to show more detail. The only advice I have it to maybe make your lines a bit darker, but otherwise you did a very good job!

  3. I agree with Carolyn that you chose items that weren't the easiest to cross contour and you did a great job. You illustrated the roundness of the cup very well by varying the darkness and spacing of the lines. Connie

  4. Hi Riley, Good work! You did a good job on the toilet paper roll depicting the flat surface of the top. Excellent!! I think that the cup drawing could use a little work as far as accuracy/symmetry goes. The cross contour lines are fine, but it looks a little wonky, perhaps the left hand side is flaring out too much (or the right hand side needs to flare out more, either way, just more symmetry :))

  5. Good work, Riley. I think you did really well. I can't tell too much about the handle of the cup, but from what I can see, I'd say that would be one of your areas for improvement. The line/shading just seems a little off, but I don't know exactly what is off about it. It looks flat compared to the rest of the drawing. Keep up the good work!
